Need to Breathe

Need to Breathe.  Not just the name of a sweet band but also my life phrase right now.  I feel like a water skier, holding onto the rope that's dragging him along solely because he knows that letting go would be far worse.  I think that our lives, at times, can be compared to either a water skier or a down hill skier.

Down Hill Skier:  The advantages of life as a down hill skier are that, unlike a water skier, you can move at your own pace (weaving when you want and speeding when you feel like it).  The biggest thing that I like about it is being able to STOP! when you feel like it.

Water Skier:  An advantage of a water skier is knowing that you are always going to be pulled in the direction of the boat.  Another is that, no matter how far out you swing, you will always end up right bakc in the boats trail.  Now when your boat is Christ this is great (scary at times, but awsome in the end).  On the other hand if your boat is school, work, and the ever increasing pace of life; it becomes a roller coaster that only the insane and crazed, such as myself, continually try to get off but always seem to end up on.

Side Notes from a water skier:

Please pray that I don't let go before the boats docks back at the shore, and pray that I don't hit one too many floating logs before we get there.

From the water skier that just flew past you screaming like a little girl,

Thanks for you prayers.

Peace Out!!!

Sorry Again :(

Sorry.  Many of U were probably confused when there wasn't any vid w/ my last post.  Once again my xanga vid loader didn't work.  So instead I hyper-linked it from youtube.  Sorry, it doesn't have the words, but it is accoustic so hopefully you guys can understand it better.  Thanks.

Is it right to compare God to the figure of a Bartender?  In music the image of God is compared to many different figures.  I simply chose this one because it was the only one that I had the vid with the words to.

Back Ground: When a loved one of Dave’s died at a young age, the quote, ‘Christian Community’ replied with this:  It’s O.K. it was in God’s will.  What!!  It was God’s will?  Yes, it was in God’s ultimate plan for the world, but not His will.  God says in the Bible that His will is for all of us to join Him in Heaven, but because of free choice and sin, we are away from that will.  That’s why we must accept Christ as our Lord and Savior so that we can join in that will.  Just as God is Righteous and Ruler, He is just.  True it is obviously in God’s plan for he to die but to tell a grieving man that her death is God’s fault and a good thing was a horrible choice of words.  Sorry about the rant.  Hopefully now you can understand the words a little better.

Back to the Point:  Is it right for us to compare the maker of Heaven and Earth to a bartender.  Is there anything wrong with bartenders?  I’ll put my opinion in my next post, but please send me yours’.

P.S. It’s a long vid so you might want to click load and then go do some homework or something really profound.  Or maybe watch Sangia get the boot (finally) on Wed.

Thanks guys/girls Peace Out!!

I'm still alive.........well partially (in recovery)

   Dear friend,

I know, I know, I'm finally updating...... hey I heard that.   O.K. so let me explain the title above.  I'm finally done with classes for this quarter.  So before I started writing this I looked and realized that the last post I made was just befoer Winter Jam....... Wow that was a long time ago.  Sorry bout that.

So, I' have a week and a half before my classes start for next quarter.  Besides that I don't have much intellectual thought running through my system right now.  I just finished a Chem 102 exam...... can we say braindead?

Oh, my goodness; I checked out my main man RyanO's site.  The audio blog is amazing.  If you guys haven't checked it out yet, I weep 4 U.  O.K. so most of you are like, "Where has he been?  Those have been there since like a hundred years ago."  Once again, classes..... I've been lucky to breath.

Alright, so here's something huge: the coolest and most incredible woman in the universe has just returned.  And if she's reading this...... yeah...................... yeah................... you're definitely the coolest.

So I'll end with this vid.  I like cause so many times I find myself getting frusterated with people, schedules, and other crap.  I guess I need to just need to step back and ask myself where's my love for others?  What the crap!!  sorry bout that the video didn't load.... see what I mean by crap?  oh, well.  the song was Where is the love by the Black Eyed Peas.  Oh well, you guys know the song so sing it to yourselves.

                                                                  Peace Out!!
